Turn on and discover the new look of Google Chrome, both on macOS and iOS

Let's face it: Chrome is an excellent browser and has long been the most popular on the planet, but its look is already a bit out of the way. Google knows it and is working on a major browser renewal, based on its Material Design .

The bad news is that this new version should still take a few good months to officially reach all users. The good thing is that you can activate and test it right now, both on macOS and iOS

To activate the new interface, follow step by step:

1. In the address bar, type chrome: // flags and press Enter .
2. Search top-chrome -md and activate option "Refresh" .
3. Search for views-browser-windows and enable this option.
4. The two options above are sufficient, but there are still other things you can activate to get the full experience:
5. Search secondary-ui-md ] and enable this option.
6. Search ntp-ui- md and enable this option
7. Search for enable-md-extensions and enable this option.

    Notes

    It is no wonder that these new models have not yet been officially released. They are under development, so there are visual aspects that will be further modified / improved and the browser itself as a whole can slow down and be unstable with these options enabled.

    If your experience is not good, simply go back to the options above. disable them.

    Obviously, the new interface is also available for users of browsers running Windows, Chrome OS and Linux; on Android, we do not know if it rolls already.

    So, what do you think? ? I think I like the renewal of iOS more than that of macOS. On the Mac, the current Opera look pleases me a lot - and it's my current default browser, let me tell you.
