Uber begins to charge the rate of dynamic drivers in Brazil

Uber announced Monday (2) that it is changing the way it charges the rate of drivers who use the transport application in Brazil.

Previously, Uber had 25% of the total value of a race (20% in the case of Uber Black). With the change, this number will be calculated taking into account other factors. This means that a driver who runs long and has to cross very congested places will be entitled to a larger share of the amount paid by the user. According to Uber, this tax can only be 1% in some cases

All changes are only valid for drivers and will not affect the price paid by users.

Similarly, if the pilot races several times in a short time, Uber may charge fees in excess of the 25% previously collected.

According to the company, the drivers did not like the package and asked for a model that would take account of the traffic when calculating the payment. In addition to this dynamic value, Uber charges a fee of R $ 0.75 for each race, which will not change. All changes are only valid for the drivers and do not affect the price paid by the users.
