US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel to North Korea from July 5 to July 7 to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un of the denuclearization process on the Korean Peninsula. Monday (2) the United States Government.

Pompeo's trip will come amidst rumors about the possibility of a second summit between Trump and Kim in New York in September. The "Axios" news portal, which quoted US officials as sources, said Trump wanted North Korea to take meaningful steps in the denuclearization process and consider the possibility of proposing the second summit as a reward for his efforts.
When asked about this, the White House spokeswoman said today that she had "nothing" to announce.
