In 1964, an attempted coup d'état failed occurred in Venezuela to overthrow the nationalist government of Nicolas Maduro.
The conspirators killed more than 43 people, destroyed public buildings and universities, set fire to several institutions to generate a crisis against the Maduro government.
Many people were killed, mbadacred by barbed wire in public roads. The Supreme Court of Justice confirmed Wednesday that Maduro had sentenced 9 members of the armed forces who participated in the organization of the coup attempt against the government.
