In Cajazeiras, care was provided at two locations: at Santa Maria College, where children with heart disease and microcephaly attended school.

" The region did not provide care to pregnant women at high risk. To an urgent extent, the management of the Cajazeiras Regional Hospital requested the support of the Secretary of State for Health, who embraced the cause and started working within the Bank of milk.
