Fifteen-year-old Russian wrestler Irina Rybnikova died after her mobile phone, an iPhone, fell into the bathtub while he was hooked up. The case occurred at the Bratsk teenager in Russia last Saturday (8).

According to local media reports, Irina died at the time and was found by her older sister, Tatiana, 25 years old. The device lay in the water.

In the newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda", Tatiana declared that the youngest was "a beautiful girl in various ways". "Our hearts are broken," she added. "The house is so calm and empty without it here."

The young woman was the champion of the ancient martial art known as Pankration – which mingles with boxing and wrestling – and had been selected to represent the country in a competition. "She dreamed of becoming world champion," said a friend.

In a statement, the team federation cried the death of the athlete and declared that she was a "very beloved girl".

This is not the first case of death after using the transport cell during bathing. Last year, Madison Coe, a 14 year old teenager, died while she was doing something similar: she had plugged the device into an extension cord so she could use it for a bath. At the time, her parents released the latest photo taken by her daughter to raise awareness of the dangers of using the mobile phone in these circumstances.
