WhatsApp makes group calling more convenient on mobile devices. Previously, it was necessary to start a video call with a contact and insert the other participants.
With the redesign, you can access the group containing the members that the user wishes to invite to the calls, and then play icon that shows a phone in the upper right corner. In the next screen, simply select the contacts you want to include in the call and choose to make a voice call or video call.

Attention, the limit of participants in the same call, video or audio, is four people simultaneously. Other instant chat applications have a higher tolerance, such as Apple's FaceTime, which already supports up to 32 people at the same time since the October update. The WhatsApp group call service is however relatively new and was launched in July 2018. Novelty is a useful tool for connecting with smaller groups. like family members, roommates or work groups and studies. The service also reflects the concern for privacy, with calls being encrypted end-to-end.
The company adds that the quality of calls will depend on the Internet connection of each device. This update is available for iOS users and will be available soon for Android as well.
