Seven sites in Campo Grande receive the Very Low Volume Spray (UBV), better known as "Smoke", Wednesday (27). The service aims to combat the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which transmits diseases such as dengue, zika and chikungunya, and areas where Campo Belo, Centro, Coophavilla, Batista, Buriti, Nova Lima and Vida Nova will be sprayed.

According to Sesau (Municipal Department of Public Health), the vehicles of the ECCE (Coordination of Endemic Vector Control) travel through the scheduled sites between 16:00 and 22:30 and follow the established route.

The folder also guides the population to open the doors and windows when the vehicle pbades by the street, so that the insecticide reaches the interior of the residence, where normally the Aedes aegypti is at the shelter. It is important to wash the drinkers with soap and water after the pbadage of smoke. Sesau also advises to stay away from the vehicle as it pbades.

The application of the insecticide is aimed primarily at reaching the females of the mosquito that causes the diseases, but it is possible that other species of insects are affected and for this reason the Use of this method of application must be done judiciously.

Check the Fumacê route in the table below:
