We are getting closer to the revelation of the new iPhones that will represent Apple between the end of 2018 and the first half of 2019. So, we expect that a rain of rumors and leaks will begin to appear, as photos and information specific to each one of them. Incidentally, Apple can repeat the dose last year, and bring three smartphones.
Among the models, there will be two with OLED screen of different sizes, specifically 5.8 and 6.5 inches, in addition to another with 6.1-inch IPS LCD screen. Today, the last two were the protagonists of a practice video, where their wooden molds were compared to the current iPhone X, ten year anniversary edition of the launch of the first iPhone, and at 7 Plus. In the video it is stated that the 6.5 inches (iPhone 9 / X Plus) will have the same dimensions as the 7 Plus, which makes sense given the proposal to be borderless started on the smartphone the more expensive announced last year. Meanwhile, the 6.1-inch (iPhone 9) will be slightly larger than the iPhone X.
Apparently, the iPhone 9 will have prices lower than the 9 / X Plus, being the the smallest of all that will be announced this year, being of the order of 700 dollars (2700 reais, without taxes). This can happen due to having an IPS LCD screen and only a rear camera. In the video, it is still shown blankets to protect the new devices, indicating that accessory manufacturers of this type are already developing their products for them.
Now we have to wait for the announcement of these three smartphones and find out what will actually differentiate one from the other and what news will be incorporated at all. The event has not been defined yet, but could take place in October.
