HTML4 definition of the attribute & # 39; rel. Here are some additional values, each of which may be used or omitted in any combination (unless otherwise indicated and unless otherwise prohibited) and their meanings, symmetry transitivity and inverse ] where appropriate. Anyone you have actually met in person. Symmetric.

colleague
Someone with whom one works or works in the same body as. Symmetrical. Usually transitive.
colleague
Someone in the same field of study / activity. Symmetrical. Often transitive.

geographical (choose at most one)

co-resident
A person with whom you share a postal address. Symmetrical and transitive.
Neighbor
Someone who lives nearby, maybe only at an address or an adjacent door. Symmetrical. Often transitive.

family (choose at most one)

child
offspring of a person, or someone that a person has adopted and supports. Inverse is parent.
Parent
Inverse of the child.
brother / sister
Someone with whom someone shares a parent. Symmetrical. Generally transitive.
spouse
Someone with whom you are married. Symmetrical. Not transitive.
kin
A parent, someone you consider to be part of your extended family. Symmetrical and typically transitive.

romantic

muse
Someone who inspires you. No reverse.
crush
Someone for whom you have a crush. No reverse.
date
Anyone you are dating. Symmetrical. Not transitive.
my heart
Someone with whom you are intimate and at least somewhat committed, typically exclusively. Symmetrical. Not transitive.

identity

me
A link to yourself at another URL. Exclusive of all other XFN values. Required symmetric. There is an implicit "me" relationship between the contents of a directory and the directory itself.
