In May, Xiaomi announced the release of its new major series of smartphones, the Mi 8 line. It currently consists of five different models, all still with the Android 8.1 Oreo factory. Now this should change, the traditional Mi 8 being the first to receive the stable version of MIUI 10 Global with Android 9.0 Pie launches in a new update, just days after the Chinese version had access to the same bet up to date.

Interested parties may try to search for the update using the device setup menu or wait for the notification to be sent to it. Remember that the distribution occurs by waves and that the propagation can be done slowly. So, do not be surprised if it takes a few days for this to happen on your model.
