Between 2009 and 2015, Yomura was advisor to the Special Secretariat for Healthy Aging and Quality of Life in Rio, the city file run by Cristiane Brasil between 2009 and 2014.

In July 2006, Yomura pleaded for Cristiane. Represented the electoral prosecutor's office for an early election campaign, according to a report published by the newspaper O Globo. The process was abandoned in 2015.
