Yomura was suspended from office on Thursday (5) by decision of Minister Edson Fachin of the Federal Supreme Court (STF). He was prevented from visiting the file and keeping in touch with other investigators or servers.

Between 2009 and 2015, Yomura was advisor to the Special Secretariat for Healthy Aging and Quality of Life in Rio, the city file run by Cristiane Brasil between 2009 and 2014.
In July 2006, Yomura pleaded for Cristiane. Represented the electoral prosecutor's office for an early election campaign, according to a report published by the newspaper O Globo. The process was abandoned in 2015.
After the arrival of Michel Temer in power in May 2016 during the impeachment process of then President Dilma Rousseff, the PTB was able to appoint the Minister work. The choice was part of the negotiations for the party to support the removal of PT.
