YouTube Music can become the default music player of the Android operating system. The information comes from the badysis of the codes of a recent update of the application, which cites integrations with the platform, as well as the possibility of reading downloaded tracks on the site. The device itself, which could be reproduced in the application with those available in streaming [19659002] Other indications also indicate a pre-installation of YouTube Music on Android devices. In other words, the software would have already been able to launch new versions of the operating system, making it one of the standard options for playing music on devices.
This is a similar strategy to that adopted by Apple, shortly after the launch of its streaming service, Apple Music, extended streaming offerings to the playback application standard iOS audio. The underlying idea is that users do not fail to listen to downloaded music (even because the iTunes Store makes them one of their main activities), but, who knows, they are considering also to pay a subscription to have access to a very large collection.
The indications were discovered by the international press, but despite citations in the source code, none of the integrations mentioned is active. Usually, when elements of this type are localized, the general idea is that they are being developed for a later version, which may or may not happen, because at other times, indices of this category have been located but have never been revealed.
Google has not officially pronounced on the subject and has never talked about a possible integration of the YouTube song app with the rest of the operating system Android. However, since the repagination of its streaming services, it adopts integration postures, ending for example with the application dedicated to games and joining the offers dedicated to the public playing in the common application of the platform. Other modifications of this category could therefore be considered.
