The new governor of Minas Gerais, Romeu Zema (New), announced Wednesday that he has rented a residence near the Pampulha Lagoon, where he will settle in the next two weeks.
Zema therefore excludes the official dwelling located in the Mangabeiras Palace, located in the south-central region of Belo Horizonte.
This statement was made during an interview with the G1 information portal. According to Zema, the choice is the ease of transportation to work in the administrative city.
The new officer said rent costs would be at his expense, without using public funds.
